Update Time!

Well its been a while now since I have updated this thing.

We currently have 3 offers out. Since we last updated I am sure we have put about 5 or 6 offers out and been rejected.

We are thinking it is our loan type, so we are trying a different strategy.

We have 2 offers on 2 different houses.

We'll see what comes of them.

News

So, we put an offer on a house that we lost the initial offer on. We were the highest bidder this time, but the bank decided to go with the second offer because it was cash on signing.

A interesting sight from the drive to Portland last weekend.

Nope

The problem is that anyplace that is the right price for us to pay and yet nice enough for us to be willing to buy is such a great deal that the investers want it. Hopefully as the price of houses continue to drop this will get easyer. So we didn't get the house and the hunt begins again.

Update

Saw a lovely little two bedroom house. Put an offer on it. Should hear about it some time soon.

Ho Hum

Not much going on. We have seen a couple houses here and there. Not much in our price range.
