We have just asked our Realitor to make an offer on the first house we looked at. It is listed at about 105k, and it was suggested that we offer about 90k to 95k. We are hoping to get our closing costs included in the deal.
WOW!! That was quick! :D I see you truly were motivated. ;) What's the area like? I saw the spray-paint on the sliding glass door and it got me a little worried.. But DAMN, 105?! Do you realize that's at LEAST 99k less than ANYTHING we'll get here? Gah. Is 105 a deal for the area, because the house needs major updates?
We saw 2 houses in the same area. Both are in a neighborhood that usually prices higher than 150k. Foreclosures are good for cheap housing. Also there were a few days inbetween house visits.
